How to Transfer Music From a USB Device to a BMW Radio

1. Insert the USB drive into the USB port on the center console, or in the glove box.
2. Press the Menu button and select CD/ Multimedia. Select the USB icon saying Not Connected.
3. Move the iDrive knob to the right. Scroll down and select Music Data Import/Export.
4. Click on the Import New Music (USB) option. A percentage bar and sign saying Importing Music will appear. If a sign saying No USB Attached appears, then remove the USB, turn off the iDrive system, turn off the car and get out. Lock the car, and wait about 4 minutes to try again.
5. Rename the music you imported. Select USB1 and click on the Option button. Click on Rename Album. Delete USB1 using the back key. Enter the name of the new album using the iDrive knob. Click OK.
