Jaguar F Type at the Goodwood Festival of Speed
Jaguar presented at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2012 a prototype of its new sports car, the F-Type. His mechanics are a V6 and V8 supercharged. The widespread use of aluminum will keep its weight down to give exceptional dynamic qualities. Will be released in mid-2013.
As you know, the Goodwood Festival of Speed is an event full of old glories of racing but no lack of news. One of the most interesting in this edition of Goowood, which begins Thursday, will be the Jaguar F-Type, the new sport of the British company to be presented to the public for the first time in prototype form.
The Jaguar F-Type will go on sale in mid-2013 as a roadster, smaller than the XK. A little further awaiting the arrival of the coupe. It is a lightweight sports car with its body made entirely of aluminum and will have as main objective to provide a high driving pleasure.
Little is known about the mechanics that will push this new model Jaguar. The manufacturer has indicated that only the F-Type will have two options mechanics passing a supercharged V6 and V8.
