Toyota recall 2 8 million cars
The measure affects brand to 2.77 million vehicles from 13 different models that can present problems in the steering system. One of the component parts can wear when you steer to the limit and repeatedly at low speeds.
Of these cars, 620,000 may also have problems with the cooling system of the electric hydraulic pump. In these cases the fault is due to cables that may have been damaged in the production process and if they break into short circuits can generate the hybrid propulsion system.
Although the recall is global, the most affected country with 1.5 million units involved is Japan. The main models that will be reviewed are the Prius (the most affected by the problem in the pump), the Corolla, the Isis and Wish (manufactured between 2000 and 2011).
